In agree in most part with the rankings that came out yesterday. OCC and Herk at first and second are a safe bet. But, Essex at third ahead of Monroe is nuts! They didn't even make the final four last year, not sure about the Regionals. Monroe is loaded and will give OCC and Herk a run for their money in 2007. They play both at home where they are as tough to beat as anyone. Can't wait for the season to start. Good luck to all

Monroe is stacked this year, watch out for a run at the championship with OCC

JUCO stands for Junior College. A lot of players attend Junior College to raise their grades, than transfer to a better school to play (ex: Brett Queener went from Herkimer to Albany). Normally, they are not better than D1 schools, but in some cases (like last years OCC team), they might have been able to take some lower end D1 schools. They would've been beaten by top tier teams though, as they aren't THAT good.

a lot of people also go to juniors to get their skill back up to take the extra step up to a higher tier d1 school, which was what one of our all americans was going to do but dropped out of mercyhurst and started rapping :banghead:

not exactly sure as to why the newest, most recent Juco thread has been deleted, but I'm sure it was a mistake by some mod. It had no reason to be deleted.

I just wanted to post the scores of some scrimmages vs. 4-year schools, (d1,d2,d3 all included)

Monroe CC 5
Potsdam 1

Monroe CC 8
St John Fisher 4

Howard CC 11
Gettysburg 10

Howard CC 6
Mt. St. Mary's 7

Nassau CC 6
Molloy 6

Most, if not 100% of the 4year schools played their backup's as well as some starters. For example; preseason AA goalie Kip Vaughn for Gettysburg did not play vs. Howard CC

edit: i also should re-mention (it was posted in the other thread)-
Onondaga CC 14
Cortland 14
