During a documentary about 2Pac's shooting, Suge Knight (CEO of Death Row) had some theories (RAT!) about why Snoop's never done hard time despite several arrests for serious offenses.

Being in jail= sells records. I mean really why would he need a gun? drugs i understand but a gun? who was gonna atttack him Jay Leno? maybe it just a publicity stunt i dont know, i hate rappers. I just like da muzic.

The gun, I don't understand why he had one on him? Well, I guess he could have a valid reason to have it, but I don't know it.
The cocaine, I don't like hard drugs, meaning, I'd never use them, but I don't think it is a huge deal if someone is possessing it.
The marijuana, well, the only bad thing about it is that it is illegal. It really should not be, and in my mind it is perfectly fine that he had some.
I'm not trying to start another drug discussion, keep in mind.
I just think that the only really stupid thing he did was having the firearm, maybe the cocaine as well, at a stretch.
I still like Snoop though.

I dont know if you guys know this or not, but Snoop Dogg is actually a ganster. People will try shoot at him, and sure, he likes the yak a bit..Why can't Snoop just cruise without attracting so much attention. Everyone knows hes riding a little dirty all the time, so why not pull him over and bag an arrest, right?

When Curtis Jackson ("fiddy") got arrested it caused all kinds of trouble with him getting into Canada for concerts. Now Calvin Broadus may have the same problem. He has a concert here in January. If he is disallowed to enter Canada, like Jackson was, then it could leed to severe rioting by the 5 people who would actually go to the concert.
