MODERATORS PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU MOVE IT SOMEWHERE AND AT LEAST GIVE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE ON NOW A CHANCE TO READ WHAT I HAVE TO SAY. THANK YOU.
Ok. So i joined The Lacrosse Forums in the Summer of 05 and when i found it, i was in awe. As a semi new player i found it as a portal to tips, lessons, tutorials, and my personal favorite, equipment. There were few moderators compared to what there are now and instead of going around the forums and looking for things people did wrong, they looked for things to talk about, ways to help, and were great sources of information. Not to say they dont do the same thing, but as i look around the forums now it seems "The Rules" have taken over these forums and its not what it used to be. It used to be laid back and a combfortable enviroment, now even i found myself making sure i didnt make any mistakes posting in the equipment forum because i saw how quickly the mods bust you. Its almost like the mods have struck fear into the regulars on the forums and i dont think that should be something that goes on in this forum. There moderators because they know the game of lacrosse and have valueable information to provide, not to be officers of the TLF law. Now i could be out of line, but the forums is something i constintly find myself browsing during the season and something i enjoy. I hope the people that were part of the forums before i was see this and think about what im saying and i doubt this will change any rules, but i tihnk it something that needs to be thought about.
Thanks for your time.
David Collins.
Understand, I am not trying to help change anything, saying it is unfair, or complaining in any way. Im just making a point.
