the magnum flipgrip

how is this shaft in ....

strength
and
weight

just wondering because i know a place that has them on clearance for cheap

The magnum flipgrip is/was a very light yet incredibly durable shaft. I had one for a number of years before it finally bent. I then cut it down to a A/M-sized shaft. If you have the means to obtain one, I would highly recommend it.

I have one.

Very light weight...EXTREMELY durable. Its a tank. I treat it like crap, and there are only a few knicks on it.

Its C405...So its light, but its not C555. I'd say its about the same weight as a Krypto-light, but significantly more durable.

Actually the Brine Magnum Flipgrip isn't an aluminum series shaft at all. According to Brine and several websites that carried it, the Magnum Flipgrip is:

Heat-treated magnesium and zinc based alloy for an extremely lightweight, dent resistant construction

All sources say that you should get this shaft. You won't be sorry unless you don't like the grip.
