hey all, i was just wondering. i am going to go out and play a ton of wallball this winter and spring, in preparation for box lacrosse. i have a gait torque which is my game head that i am debating on weather i will use or not. i will be practising on pavement scooping up the ball and all that while playing wallball so it might ruin the scoop. i was wondering if i should use my gamehead with the risk of it getting wrecked (will it get wrecked if i use it on pavement??) or should i use a backup head. the only thing i can see going wrong with using a backup head is getting used to it and not being used to my gamehead when the season rolls along.
any opinions?

Just use the Torque. If you're afraid of getting it dirty then you shouldn't even bother with lacrosse any more. If you must though, tape the scoop. And like you said you will get used to whatever stick you use to practise, so if the Torque'll be your game stick use that.

i would use my back up head because i wouldnt want my game head beat up during a game. Thats what im doing with my razer 2.0. im only going to use it for game and games only. Like my football coach says "when i look good i play good"

just use some electrical tape on the scoop
electrical or any kind of tape will wear through after a few scoops on the concrete. I'd just use your game head and practice scoops in your house or on a field

im not afraid of getting it dirty, but im afraid of wrecking the scoop and wearing it down on pavement outside, and ruining it before the season even starts.

your scoop wont get damaged. i played most of the summer in 110 degree temp playing wallball almost every day, and i didnt ruin my profile at all. anyways, during wallball, you dont usually drop the ball (unless you doin GB). if you do GB, then just let the ball come to you.

yuo can always put shoo goo on the scoop i do that for all my customs i string so the leathers dont get worn out but it also protects the plastic

yea, play wallball in the air (pass and catch, dont let the ball roll and if it does then ret it roll into your stick) and practice scooping seperately in the grass. if your that concerned, switch on and off 2-1 with your backup-game sticks so you dont mangle your game stick but you stay fresh with it.

Just string both heads the same, that way if you get used to your backup head there won't be that much of a difference when the season rolls around.

if your playing wallball by yourself, y do u even need to scoop it. jus bend over, pick it up, and put it into your stick.
