Dud you clearly haven't seen Wilmslow play, they have some top players who would easily get on the team...
Come to watch the CHESHIRE v LANCASHIRE U19 match THIS SUNDAY AT MERSEY 2pm! Then you'll see all the players who will have the best shot at U19 England

Other than the man mountain Middie with Ginger hair, I really cant see anyone else at that age group getting in (Under 19 in 2008, eldest under 19 this year will not be eligible), who else do you think should get in from Wilmslow!
Also Wilmslow didnt do too well in the U19 league this year, bottom of the league wasnt it?
Ill be there on Sunday!

you won't see all the players with the best shot on sunday because some are 2 old and there's quite a few players with a good shot who arn't even playing

Tom Brooks - the sickest player - attacker, seen no one as good as him yet! And yes Michael Jordan would be in there. Mike is 'young enough' but Brooky will be too old. (he plays in a sky blue helmet!)
But yeah your right, some of them will be too old by then. Sunday should be a good game!
You'd probably get a better response to this topic on the UK forum !?! Seen as very few poeple on this forum know the players etc....

Try-Out info above!
Any of you ex-pats or if your parents/grand parents have English Passports its time to start thinking about getting in touch with the ELA.

Phillip Quist is from the US, but his father is English. He is one of the best goalies in the states, and should be a frontrunner in goal.

well, blimey. i wish they would have tryouts here in america for those of us who are citizens of descent. even if i had known in time, theres no way i would have flown all the way to england for a single tryout. well, there goes that dream.
Why should they? You wanna play for england you need to make the commitment.

One small problem with USA players playing for England .. and I quote from the website listed in an earlier post....
.The player must have officially resided in England for at least the last two years

if i'm not mistaken, that's only if an individual is NOT a citizen. that requirement doesn't neccessarily apply to individuals who are citizens.
