new jersey looks like a threat for the 2007 title by adding cattrano to help the d to perform with the offense.

i think fiay is a typo for fiat. Anyways San Francisco made out really well, they got a lot of good midfielders, Looney and keysor. What i dont understand is why players that played last year are in here like falatach, keysor, neal goldman, jason doneger, gavin prout. Whats the deal there?

I think that Athan Ianucci will become a big-time attackman in a couple years. He is 6'4", tough, strong, and has some good stick skills.

70) Philadelphia - Colin Achenbach (Att./Mid)
Yea baby thats my boy Achenbach...glad to see him drafted because he is dirty...THE best to come outta Minnesota, land of the cold air....
And no he is mostly attack, but will probably have to play some mid, but he shouldnt have any trouble converting. But props to him, he was my coach this summer.

He's gonna be one of the assistant coaches for our varsity squad, along with Sean Lindsay. I'm freakin psyched.

If Fiay is a typo for Fiat then that is sooo sick because he played high school lacrosse here in Utah. Don't really think there are any pro lacrosse players from Utah. He also signed with the Philadelphia Wings. I thought Cattrano retired also.

if you read on insidelacrosse.com. cattrano is retiring, and they picked him just so they coudl have a retirement party for him

Ironically, Cattrano was also selected in the draft as New Jersey’s final selection in the tenth round, though his retirement is expected to stick.

“We’re actually having a Greg Cattrano Retirement Night the first night of the year,” explained Kelly.

Wait, (and im not bashing just asking), didn't Ianucci have an interview in inside lacrosse where he stated that he didn't think he had ever scored, or even taken a shot, left handed? I guess that's going to have to change if he is going to suceed in the MLL.

Rochester used its last selection (10th round, 93rd overall) to take RIT attackman David Thiering. In 2006, Thering finished the season with 92 points (33+59) and led the Empire 8 in scoring. He also became RIT's all-time leading scorer with 293 career points (146+147), earning First Team All-American honors.

Nope, switching ain't all it's cracked up to be.

See Team Canada in 2006 Worlds.......very little switching, still managed plenty of goals.

See Athan Ianucci - very little switching (if this is true...I've never seen him play field), yet good college numbers, and drafted first overall for pro lacrosse.

Goals are cheaper and easier in the pros anyway - if he made it through college without switching, why would he need to start in the pros?
