Mikey Powell's always been rather strange. From his Syracuse days to now playing in the MLL and stirring up an NLL field league, he's always been a little odd. He's one of the best lacrosse players of today, but why does he not want to become better? I think I sense a little bit of arrogance in his writing. The idea of squandering his athletic talent doesn't seem to be the first thing on his mind, either. ADD or not, he's the best lacrosse player that isn't interested in improving on what he has already done.

Just shows how talent can be wasted sometimes. I mean, if you're a natural athlete, you should strive to get even better, not put those skills to waste. He has so much potential. Some people practice to the max, yet they will never be able to have as much talent as some natural athletes. He should take advantage of what he has.What kind of example is he giving to younger kids by saying that he doesnt practice yet he's so good.

for the record, ADHD is a disorder, not really a disease. and it is misdiagnosed very frequently, and treated with chemicals which we will probably find damage the brain and increase the amount of drug users later in life; I imagine (i.e. IMO, I have no idea but I'd guess) that at such a young age teaching a child that pills are okay and sort of acceptable would make them more open to trying them younger (trying drugs is not neccessarily bad and can be an eye opening experience, but once again IMO)

as for mikey powell- what the f!@# is wrong with him. The way I see it is he's is one of those dramatic, attention craving people. he's just trying to seem like his life is so dramatic ('my own family doesn't know me...' for instance, stupid emo attention whore). just shut up and play the game you claim to love yet hate to associate with.

once again I state gary and paul gait both are far superior lacrosse players. not only have they sacrified their personal life to promote and grow the sport, they knows how to handle criticism and have performed with excellence even as the game has changed so dramatically (i.e. sticks becoming much more accomodating for bad fundamentals, the bigger better stick idea) and they have not once complained on how lacrosse essentially rules their life.

Personally, i find this HILARIOUS in the sense that it was not meant to be taken seriously. Some of this stuff had me rolling on the ground. and i completely understand what he means but not wanting to only be known as a lacrosse player. he made this website not to show that he plays lacrosse but to delve a little bit into himself. anyone that can do that as openly and frankly as funny as he did i am forced to give a whole lot of respect to. i mean cmon, if you dont think "Hunting.
