First Box Tournament in Norway

Actually, this will be the first tournament of any kind in Norway. We want to set a good date in February or March. So...for any Scandinavian or English (or from other areas) teams or players, what is a good date? We want to settle on a date before Christmas. You can get a ferry or plane from England or Denmark straight to Stavanger. We won't be able to get an ice hockey rink in the winter, but can get a place around 20-25 by 45 meters, so we'll play 4 on 4.

We have a date set...3 March. So far we have teams from Denmark, Sweden, and Bergen, Norway interested. No cost other than travel expenses. It will actually be the second box tournament in Norway...Oslo had one last weekend.

We should have pictures and maybe video soon, but we hosted our tournament yesterday. We lost all of our games (9-0, 6-0, 9-0, and 4-0) and had only one substitute, but had a great time there and at our party. Only two of us had played before, so it was a good learning experience.

We also played an outdoor game on Friday against Bergen. We (actually a borrowed Bergen player) scored first, but Bergen had 11 unanswered goals. Then I Became the first Storm player to score with two minutes left. Final score was 12 to 2.
