I talked to the CC captain Jud Brown for a little bit this summer. He loved it, he is now working as an assisstant coach or something.

my best friend plays there and loves it. plus @ the school, you have classes for 3 weeks and then you get a week off! and not to mention, the lax field is bordering a mountain, its LEGIT.

My friend will be playing there next year, and his brother went to CC. Its a decent D3 lacrosse team and a very good school in a great location.

the field doesn't exactly border a mountain.. but that doesn't matter. Colorado springs is at the foot of pikes peak.. it's a really pretty town, but there's nothing else there except for a few colleges. CC is a great school. You're on a block schedule which means you take only one class at a time for about two weeks then have a final, then take another class. I don't think you have one week off in between classes.

You need to have a fat pocketbook and a good highschool transcript to get in. CC costs some 35k a year. It's considered probably the best private school in the state, so you better be a good student.

A few kids from my highschool ended up going there. It's a good lacrosse program with kids from all over the states. You end up traveling quite a bit to ohio and maybe one other trip too.

yeah one of them is him, and he's still good. He played NH Tomahawks last summer. He seems pretty pumped about CC, a few other kids from our school are going out to Colorado (non lax).

I went to the recruiting weekend at CC at the end of the summer. Then I never really followed through with Zazzaro—which was completely my mistake.

Either way, I got accepted to CC 'bout a week ago. Does anybody know what the walk-on policy is at CC? I have a feeling I could definitely play there, but I wasnt recruited, etc.

Actually you'd need a fatter pocket book than that. For the 2007-2008 academic year, the total costs (tuition, room/board, etc) is $45,200. Insane.

I received zero financial aid, and I dont know if i really want to make my parents spend around 180K on me, because that's a lot of scrilla.

Dang man, I didn't know tuition was THAT much.. but congrats on getting in.

I know a couple kids who walked on... you just have to be really sound fundamentally, and probably should have played varsity with a good squad for a couple of years. I'm not sure that they even make cuts, as long as you're not new, un athletic, or horrible. PT is a different story though, obviously.
