This is going to sound weird, but does anyone wear a wrestling singlet for lacrosse? So, instead of compression shorts or boxerbriefs, you put on a singlet, then jock/cup, shorts, pads, jersey, etc.?

I was just talking to one of my teammates who says he does that (he's a wrestler in the winter season), and I thought he was crazy. He says it's mad comfortable.

Wow, that would feel really weird. Maybe if it was really cold outside.

Yea, but you would be better off wearing UA than a singlet, I don't see why you would do that, I've worn one and they wouldn't be the best thing to play lacrosse in.

Ive worn a singlet when i wrestled in 8th grade, and from my experience i cannot see how this can keep you warm to begin with. It would be no different from wearing a beater undershirt. UA would definately be a better choice. And btw the singlet is one of the many reasons i dont wrestle anymore

i cant see how that would be comfortable either, I can only put mine on the whole way right before i wrestle, i find mine really uncomfortable.

Your (so called)friend probably was lying to you because he wanted you to try it and look like an idiot.

Well, there's no way I'm putting on a singlet, that's for sure. But my friend definitely wears one. I don't think it's for warmth; more for comfort. But they sure as hell don't look comfortable. I'll stick to my UA comp shorts.

I could see where you would wear a singlet if you practiced SAMBO(Russian MMA) under your gi or Jiu Jitsu, but why in lacrosse? :dummy:

The only practicle reason is that you are probabvly wearing it to keep your *** warm.

u guys are probably picturing it wrong. You wear it rolled down so its basically just compression shorts. I wrestle, infact i had my first varsity matches yesterday and went 2 for 3

That would be dumb because then you would have the straps hangingdown, and make it harder to move cause it will be more bulky, you would be better off just wearing compression shorts.

i nvr said compression shorts wouldnt be better, im just saying how people do it and don't knock it before you try it.
