Hi guys, these are not my first string jobs, but I am still very much a beginner. I strung them both up with soft mesh(saving my hard mesh for my torque). I did a normal top string and sidewall for the clutch. For the matrix, I went with a triangle top string, which I'd like C+C on, and I also went with interlocking sidewalls. I just tried something I saw on the forums with a bottom string to see if I liked it. Both throw pretty consistently, with the clutch having a little whip. Again thanks for looking and C+C is appreciated. All materials are from Jimalax except for the white sidewall and shooter on the matrix.

Sorry for the so so camera work guys, I'm new to this. I know they may not be too pretty but I've used both of them in indoor games, wallball, shooting drills, and groundball drills. They are utilitarian enough for me, but I wanted your opinion on them. Thanks for looking

i see that you have to right idea, but in the shooters, on the right side (when looking at face) the shooter is weaved wrong on the U. you should also connect the shooters to the sidewall instead of starting and ending them in the mesh.other than that and pounding, it looks good.

All of them look good, and from what i can see, the triangle topstring looks correct.

i cannot stand soft mesh... at all.... but it is a good idea to save the hard for the torque
besides that they look pretty good....

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm glad to be reassured I did the top string right. And KB, I have come to accept soft mesh and I have a lot of it as well. Likewise, I have a lot of hard mesh and thats going into my torque that I'm redoing and possibly my swerve as well. Even though I'm just waiting for the throat of my swerve to bust on me.

give them good pounding like said above and it will work pretty good! or you wet the pocket and just play wall ball the break the mesh in... thats waht i would do!
