Panama
Hot for Teacher
Unchained

They're all by Van Halen, and they're pretty good party songs. There's a couple Motley Crue songs that you could play.

Edit: Express Yourself by NWA- that's a good one.

Get a lot of techno beats in there. I'm assuming because it's New Years it will be more upbeat than chilling, so I'd put a ton of techno on. "All Night" is another good Damian Marley track.

Over And Over Again - Clap Your Hands Say Yeah
Baby C'mon - Stephen Malkmus
California Songs - Local H
Helicopter - Bloc Party
Fire On The Mountain - Grateful Dead
Here In Your Arms - Hellogoodbye
Mad World - Gary Jules
Paper Thin Walls - Modest Mouse
Blankest Year - Nada Surf
Lex - Ratatat
Elevator Love Letter - Stars
Reunion - Stars
Ageless Beauty - Stars
The First Five Times - Stars
More Techno.

Spice some of that into the more well-known, popular stuff you have on the playlist right now and your set.

Spice some of that into the p

idk. around here at parties its always like hip-hop or rap. with maybe a little rock.
i'm not really into that stuff but at parties it seems to work. i think because that kind of music is played so much everyone knows it.

Yeah just listen to rap stations around where you live and then get the ones that are played the most it is sure to be a success.

Um in your list you have "act a fool - lil jon" but it's actually sung by Ludacris unless I didn't know about Lil Jon makin one.
Try these songs.

Smack that- Akon
Snap yo Fingas- Lil Jon
Get Low- Lil Jon
Tokyo Drift- Teriyaki Boyz
In da club- 50 Cent
Drop it Like its Hot- Snoop Dog ft. Pharrell (sp?)
Yeah- Usher
Confessions- Usher
Get Back- Ludacris
Superman- Eminem
Please Stand up- Eminem

Loook up more songs by these artists and try to throw in some fast paced rock like
Scotty Doesn't Know- Lustra
or
Lips of an Angel- Hinder

Lemme know if these help if not I can give you more ideas.

we're not your friends, therefore we probably don't like the same music. Half of DJing is knowing the crowd you are doing it for. Put some thought into it and do it yourself.

you're right, you wouldn't, because you are 4 years younger than me and live on the other side of the country. anyways, if most of your friends like rap and the stuff they are listing (which you could just listen to an hour of pop radio to get a good list of cool rap songs nowadays), then...why the question in the first place? eh? pacha?

It's a New Years Eve party, you need some more up tempo songs.

That's That ****- Snoop Dogg
Money in the Bank- Lil Scrappy
Bojangles(remix)- Pitbull
Shake- Pitbull
Freek-A-Leek- Petey Pablo
Chain Hang Low- Jibbs (i know it's an awful song...but it's big at a party)
Ignition(remix)- R Kelly
Get Low- Lil Jon
Hey Ma- Cam Ron
Big Papa- Notorious BIG
Lets Get High- Dr. Dre

-then you can definitely end the night with:
Kiss me, I'm ****faced- Dropkick Murphys
sure it is more of a St. Patrick's Day song, but it is just a great song to end any good party with.

Yeah up tempo songs are great as well. Look up songs under the artist called Crazy Frog. He has one song called Axel F. and it was one of the most popular songs in Germany for 5 months straight. Most people know the song so it's not really "international".

It's great ain't it? Omg I first heard it in Florida at a friends wedding and he played that I thought I was actually gonna start singin in front of these hott girls and every thing! FYI, My voice is extremely high for my age (14) and I'm bloody 6 ft tall so it's odd seeing my figure talkin in my voice.
