Hi, I have never played box lax, I only watch a few box lax video clips, so after watching I have several quesitons in my mind...

1. Is Canadian pockect different from US pocket?? it seems that people have distinguished them...
(P.S. I watch the 98 and 06 lax world champ vidoe clips and I found that Candaian team players' pocket and sticks seem different from that used by US team, for example, the former's sticks have 3 horizontal rolled shooting strings and they prefered traditional pockets too)

2. I see box video and the players seldom use stick checks like poke check, why? useless?

3. And the box players' throwing form is quite strange compared with those in field lax, why? Because their pocket is whippy? because there is limited room for them to make pass?

4. Does dodges Milion taught in his video work in box lax? It seems that not...

In general, box players rarely have the stick totally vertical and therefore rarely have a low in -the-throat pocket.

Box lax is tight, no space, quick release stuff and therefore many box laxers have mostly mid-to high pockets

Let's take it to the other thread, since it is essentially the same topic.
