Simple pita on Asylum

So yeah, I strung up a pretty basic pita on my new Gait Asylum. Loved the holes on that thing, but I hate its sccop, massive lip problems (worse then pro series). On to the pics, CC is welcone as usual.

it looks really good, i dont see anything wrong with it. i like it especially cause the black and gold are my school colors, and ya get rid of the neon green and put some black or gold shooters instead. = :love:

Edit-Sorry for the double post. didn't notice I was the last poster.

Also, sorry for the angled pic, it makes the head look a little warped, which its not.

Double edit-The picture also makes the head look wider. Those leathers are practicly under the sideall, it is really pretty pinched.

The asylum actually looks really nice to me (especially with that beautiful pita). Is it very stiff? and How's the scoop on it (other than the lip problem)?

yeah you can just tell, but I'm wondering whether the scoop is flat, rounded, or if it has the Gait v-scoop. It doesn't look like the v-scoop, but most gait heads seem to have pretty nice scoops.

The scoop on this head is not very good. It doesn't really have the dropped V-scoop of the torque. the scoop is lke none other. it is almost vertical. If i put a piece of paper at the bottom of the scoop thered me about another CM of plastic above it, going at a 90 degree angle. As for flat or rounded, its flat at the bottom, then theres a gap (to protect the strings) on the other side of the gap it starts to round off. I'll get a picture of it up later today if I have a break from my cousins.

My only complaint would have been the green shooters.

Looks very nice. I really like the black and gold crosslace, which kind of makes the green shooters seem out of place, but otherwise a really clean looking job.
