I think people are underestimating how good of a team Boise State really is. I mean the whole 'well look at the conference that they played' is lame... Undefeated is still undefeated.

First of all it's OKlahoma. But I think Boise State is going to win. They are a very good team, very underrated. Them and Hawaii should move to the Pac 10, because they both are very underrated teams in my opinion. BSU has an amazing defense and offense second in the nation behind Hawaii offense in points scored.

I think it's tough to call. If Oklahoma gets momentum early, then it'll be a blowout. If Boise State hangs tough and stays in the game, then I can imagine Boise State pulling it out late, maybe in OT. Although, even with that said, I would still put my money on Oklahoma.

Wyoming had one of the best pass defenses in the nation. #4, in fact, and considering how much of BSU's offense relies on pass defense, that's an important stat (of course, my BYU Cougars blew Wyoming out of the water, but that's beside the point, because John Beck is a better QB than Troy Smith) to consider. BSU might have had close calls, but undefeated says something. They will win this game. They'll do what they need to do and I'm certain that in the heart category, they'll have a huge advantage, and when you're the little guy, you need that advantage. BSU should have moved into the MWC instead of TCU, and BYU should move into the Pac-10 (should they get an invite), especially considering their 38-8 victory over OSU on Thursday night. BSU is going to do great. Their record over the past 5 years is just as good as freaking USC. That says something. Don't hate on this team for being in the WAC. BYU won a national title in the WAC in 1984. Oh, and BYU? Yeah, 11-2, beat a team in the Pac-10, which was formerly ranked as high as #11, beat the #17 team in the nation, sent a game with Boston College into overtime (depressing loss), and are two field goals away from an undefeated season. They end their season winning ten straight, including a crazy awesome nail-biter with the University of Utah. Oh, and anybody that wants to hate on the MWC, they have had one or two great teams nearly every season. This year we have BYU being completely dominant and TCU being pretty good. Last year was a weaker year, but in '04 the U of U won the Fiesta Bowl. The year before that the Utes went 11-1. In '01 BYU went 12-0 before losing their final two games of the season, but they were doing freaking awesome and almost went to a BCS bowl. BYU has a great new head coach that went 6-6 his first season but 11-2 his second, despite injuries to key players. We've got one of the best receiver groups in the nation, the best QB in the nation (Yeah, Troy Smith, whatever), the best tight end in the nation (that's much less of a debate), a good running back, (1000 yards rushing this season and last), a killer defense (15.2 points per game allowed) and our offense has destroyed some amazing defenses, like, OSU and Wyoming. And we killed TCU at home, ranked #17. YEEEEEEEAH. BSU will win, anyway. Just a shameless plug for my team.

Boise Sate has a very good offense, so does Oklahoma with Adrian Peterson, but Peterson might not be so productive after coming off that (I think Knee) injury. One thing that is the wild card in this game is Boise State's Defense. The WAC confrence has basically been Boise State's domain for the past 2 seasons with the Broncos not playing many good Offensive Football Programs. Look for Oklahoma to win this matchup 23-17.

I am going to have to go with BSU in this one. It will be a great game. And I too am a BYU fan. BYU in the Pac-10 would be so cool. They'd compete quite well. THe UofO ducks were wearing new helmets at the Las Vegas Bowl. ANybody see the ghost flames on the helmets....i almost lauyghed wheni saw them.

That was ridiculous. Straight up ridiculous. What all did they do? The hook and latteral, Statue of Liberty, A No QB formation that i have no idea what its called.... That was intense. that was one heck of a game. Zabransky had me pissed off, but then he made me proud. Not one bit of that game was luck, it was all heart and passion and love of the game. BSU screwed up a few times early in the game. Those were momentum stoppers. If it werent for the few mistakes boise would have blown OU out of the water. BSU can take on the big boys.

I think the proposal at the end gave it a nice touch...

Dan you didn't emphasize it enough it wasn't just the best play this year, but the best play in any bowl game ever. With so much on the line Boise State played amazing, I think Zabransky purposely threw that INT so that he could do that play. Boise State made a mockery of Oklahoma with those trick plays.

Dude, I knew the game wasn't over after that interception. I mean, I watched the BYU vs. U of U game, and my boy Jonny Harline came up big time, as did my other boy, best QB in the nation JOHN BECK. But anyway, BYU beat the U of U in like 67 seconds or something, they were down like 31-27, and they came back and they scored that last touchdown on that 13 second long play. So I knew that BSU could do it too, plus their coach is crazy awesome. I mean, that pitch? WOW. I have the Sportscenter top 10 plays on my TiVo, and I think me and my dad are going to pee our pants watching that stuff. I never counted BSU out.

I've been to boise a ton of times, where exactaly is considered downtown? Like near the airport or what? Lol, I watched the statue of liberty play probably 100 times last night. I wish my team had some cool trick plays like that when we were in close games like that.
