Now that 2006 is coming to the end, and 2007 is right around the corner, what were your best memories of 2006?

One of mine would be the '06 lacrosse season, for my school, not just the playing, but my team, we had such a good time, I got along with almost everyone, it was just fun. I'll add some more when I think of them.

Best thing that has happened this year!

Nah...
My number one was attempting a dive shot last season, and scoring...to get nailed by 2 guys in midair. It was amazing.

And, homecoming this year.

Taking my team (that I coach) to the state semi-finals and graduating from college. It's been a pretty good '06, not sure I can top it any time soon.

Spending a night in a tent with my lady after a n awesome dual-birthday party :naughty:

Also, visiting the Maryland Terps college and realizing the my dream is to go there. One 1 1/2 more years!! *Crosses fingers that I will get in*

Coming back from 2 ACL reconstructions to play lacrosse this season. I was the leading scorer, but tore my ACL again in the last game. So... I basically had just waisted a whole year. It was good while it lasted. :bawling: :angry:

Going to the Fiesta Bowl
Hiking in the Grand Canyon
Spending a week in DC
Spending a week in Gatlinburg, Tennessee
Starting high school

starting lax, stringing and joining this board have kind of consumed at least half of my '06 and i wouldn't go back and change it for anything! Christmas i have been on here 1/2 a year

-Last few weeks of senior year-Last season of high school lacrosse-Graduation parties-Induction Day 2006 (worst day of my life)-Random Plebe Summer things-Hell(o) Night-Navy lacrosse-Coming home for Thanksgiving-Coming home for Christmas

Wow, talk about endings and new beginnings! I admire Kyle for his dedication to all parts of his life.

I am going to resurrect this thread and add my thoughts on January 1.

Going on vacation with my girlfriend
Winning states
NH allstate
Just our season over all, my team got along great and did great
Canoe trip with all my friends
First year of rugby
Redoing my room
Learning to string trad/mesh/dye
U-mass and UVA making it to the finals (favorite college teams)
Been a pretyt swewet 06 to me

Lacrosse Related- Going to the World Lacrosse Championships and meeting John Marr and all of team scotland.

School related- Going down to alabama and watching my school win the NCAA Football Championship...again.

and just for fun- Dick Cheney shooting a guy in the face.

lax - going over the 30 save mark in a single digit win...(21-3)

school - getting better grades on my finals then on anyother test during the year and rubbing it in my teachers faces that i didnt even study

other - pantsing a kid in front of the girls varsity team during practice and watching everyone fall to the ground laughing...then gettin 2 weeks detention for it, but it was all worth it.

- My lacrosse team finally had a season where we all loved being around each other (for the most part) and defeated our rivals...twice.
- My lax coach quitting
- Every signle camp/tournament that I went to, because whether or not I was actually seen by coaches, I still had a great team to have a good laugh with.
- Signing with a school that not only has a great lax program and tradition (and heck, even uses favorite color for its school colors) that I will have a great chance of winning a title with, but also has some great educational programs.
- Making it to senior year (let's just hope I can actually graduate) and winning Worst Case of Senioritis and Class Clown for Senior Mosts.
- Finally getting into a routine workout cycle

Well, since it's now officialy New Years Eve, I decided to bring this thread back up. Unfortuatly I can't think of any more memories right now.
And this will probably be my last post of 2006, it's been a decent year, lets make 2007 a great one. happy new year.

last years lax season(scoring 4 goals in a single game woo!),Prom, Homecoming, meeting all these chicks from AHC, thats about all i can think of for the moment

for the most part, 2006 has sucked, not gunna lie. mainly because i moved to a new place, and i have always had a tough time meeting new people, and leaving my old group of friends.

Good things-
losing virginity (self explainatory haha)
and spending every second of my summer with my girlfriend

My lax season (lead scorer-28 number two for assists-14)
Made it to play-offs (first time ever)
Found the forums
learned to string
started on varsity football

-last 8th grade dance, wow i was such a little boy back then
-last year of youth lax going undefeated after those tough begging years of not winning at all
-Defence of player of the year for my youth team
-entering highschool
-getting picked into varisty football freshman year that was awsome

Meeting some cool new friends who I hang out with almost everyday.
Senior year partying and not caring at all.

New laptop
