It looks like the only box league besides Baltimore which was listed already is at USTC. Tristate and Xtreme appear to do only 7v7 HS stuff......

extreme sports has open 5x5 pick games sunday nights with no refs. $10.00 a night for about 2 hrs. the times change but it's often at 7:00 pm. some times there are not two goalies so they go 1/2 court or put a trash can in net.

Tri state has run open 5x5 box leagues but they have been having trouble getting enough teams to sign up, so they cancel it.

These all meet the requirements of small goals, padded goalies and 5v5. There some rule differences with each but for the most part, they are box. We are working on a National Governing Body to apply some standards BUT, everyone has to agree to them as well...

Boarding and Crosschecking are major issues that people don't like to hear...

bagatawaylacrosse.com has a winter box league in GA. there is a league for 5-6th grade, 7-8th grade, and highschool.

RE: Glendale Box Lacrosse (AZ)

We start our 8th season next week with a camp then a full league. The Sting's demise hurt a bit because we no longer have access to the players coming out and helping coach - but the numbers are better than ever. We are looking at 160 players ages 6-17. Indoors and air conditioned - important when it's 110 in the shade here in AZ.

BTW - Coach Hamley is still here. He may come by and help during the box camp. He made sure that the Sting would donate a few bits of gear to us before they cleared out. Hammer, always a class act . . .
