Well I know where my parents hide the presents and I'm currently resisting the urge to go and look at what they are, but I don't want to ruin the surprise.

Uh, not to be the grammer police, but do we all mean "peek?"
Or, maybe there's a special tournament and you want to be in top shape and form, so you're "peaking" during the Christmas break?
...and yeah, my daughter and I even go together for one shopping trip to get the majority of her gifts...that way, I'm not the idiot dad who never gets the cool stuff.

i have the best way to peak -- look at the bills. my parents keep all the bills together, so i just rummage through them because they normally wrap my presents early. -- ipod video, bose sounddock, (and i ordered the k18 sp and ap - and my parents are gona pay for them) thats it.
I told my mom what I wanted and the price and she handed me a credit card. End of transaction.
It's really not much fun like this. Next year I'm going to give her a list of things I want and let her choose.

As pitbear pointed out.. THE WORD YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IS PEEK!!
PEEK is to look, PEAK is the top of a mountain.
And no i havnt peeked, all of our stuff is wrapped and under the tree.
Got one set of grandparents and an aunt coming down tomorow. and the other set of grandparents coming down a few days after chirstmas, should be a grand ol' time.

When I saw the title I was assuming something inappropriate.
I peeked once a few years back and it totally ruined it. So I have not done it since. It is incredibly tempting to do it, however.
Pretty sure I know what I'm getting anyways:
-Xbox 360
-Gears of War
-Money
-Some clothes
-and a few other boxes I can not figure out

I enjoy suprises. I found out where my parents hide me presents about 6 years ago when i used to want to see them, but i'm not really interested anymore because i ususally know what i'm getting and the few suprises make christmas a lot better.

i usually peek at my stuff. im just a really impatient person at this time of year, so its hard to restrain myself at times. when i was younger, i used to look everywhere in the house for presents. i would even take a needle, cut through the tape with it, carefully unwrap the present, look at what it was, and then carefully rewrap it and put it back. these days, i pretty much know what im gonna get, so i dont peek much. unfortunately, my mom left a box of stuff on the counter the other day that she was gonna wrap, but apparently she forgot i was home, so i saw a pair of basketball shorts i asked for and a few family guy dvd's.

I like waiting and not knowing what your going to get, so I never look. I figure the feeling of not knowing only lasts until Christmas and than it's gone for pretty much a year, so waitings cool.

I didn't peak, but when I came back from Radio Shack 10-15 min ago my mom says to me"You found one of your presents :(" Didn't know what she was talking about. She saw my Lacrosse for Dummies book on my bed. EVidently she bought me a copy not realizing I owned one. But hey, now I have two copies!

Xbox 360, Checked my parents email. Kicking myself for it, because I had no idea they were getting it, didn't even tell them I wanted it. Never peekign again. Thought I learned my lesson when my sister spilled about a BB gun when I was 6. I still have my Mom/Stepdad's presents to be suprised about, she says shes got a nice one.

Rule 1 of making fun of one's grammar- Make sure your own is correct.
Haha
Haha, BAM! I am very bad about it. I've been doing pretty good this year, but sometimes I have to go and reserve what I want since it dramatically simplifies things for my parents. Right now I only really know one gift. But last year, scratch that, two years ago my parents got me a Gamecube. Blew me away. It was like the last gift, one of those family gifts that we open last, and I'm just like, aaaaaaWHOOOOOOOOO! I had no idea. My parents said the look on my face was freaking awesome. Right now I have a general idea of everything but I don't really know, so that's a good thing. Man, that was so sweet to get that Gamecube. Too bad I never played video games in high school.

Yeah I just peeked. My wife used one of those huge plastic Christmas bags to wrap one of my big gifts. It was too heavy for her to bring in the house so I carried it in. OOPS... the tape popped open. HONEST it was an accident. But I can't wait to act surprised tomorrow morning when I open it. I recently made nine Oak Lacrosse shafts at my father in-laws shop. So looks like she decided to get me a beautiful table saw so I can continue making shafts without wearing out his equipment. It all makes sense now because my brother in-law was just asking me last night if I wanted to try some Hickory he has laying around to make more shafts. I said sure, but I was thinking what am I going to do with more wood shafts. I guess I'll use them. I've already given away three Oak shafts. Everyone that sees them wants one so I guess it will work out.

I hold myself to peeking only one present a year so that I don't totally ruin all the suprises. The only present I looked at was a new cell phone I'm getting. Sony Ericsson W300i. The rest I pretty much know what I got. Clothes, Camera, hockey and lax gear, and then my dad just takes me and gets me what I want.

Yeah I remember one year I was like 6 and I opened my mom's closet for some innocent reason and there was the entire Christmas stash just sitting there. There was that weird robot thing that played cassettes if anybody knows what I am talking about, it was silver and blue, it was a big deal when I was in kindergarten.

However, I do have a nack for knowing what is in the box. For example, we always open one present on Christmas Eve, she picked up a package. I immediately told her she could put it back as I know it is a calendar. She accused me of peeking!
I always guess my presents - I only got a few this year because they were expensive but I was 5/5 and that's pretty damn good.

I've always been tempted to peek but never actually do because then it'd be a boring Christmas morning.
But for some reason my mom still goes to great lengths to hide them, she even has everything shipped to her work and stashes it there. I don't know why she thinks I'm going to peek since I haven't.
