We don't do gifts before the 25th, and I don't really have much family coming in. My moms side lives mainly in my town, Seattle, and France. We don't see them too much. My dad's entire family lives in France, so, a bit of a hassle for either party to travel.

So far, I got some really nice cheese from my grandparents (A sort of "fun" gift I am hoping, but these people also didn't even send me a card to say happy birthday so...). An unusual gift by American standards, but then again, we are french, and it is some nice stuff.

I have no idea what I'm getting this year. I never really gave my mum and dad a list, so whatever ends up under the tree tommarow will be a surprise.

You should string the most heavy, obscure, impractical custom that uses so much string nobody on a budget could possibly even come close to imitating it. Than again, they're not my spools, and I'm sure if they were I wouldn't waste them either :chuckle: Just a thought though.
