for christmas i got a brine ripper on a brine 6000 series shaft...

is that shaft decent? i mean it feels alot stronger then my al6000 so i guess thats good. But I'm really not sure.

and i was researching about the ripper and they say that its a beginner head and not recommended for anyone else. ive used a av8 for about a year now so i kind of feel like i have the basics down. Should I stick with this head or just trade it in for something that I wont "outgrow"

any help is welcome.

Anyhead is good for anyone

Pinch the proton and it'll be more compatable with experienced players....

AL6000 = 6000 series

Also it would be smart to invest in a more pinched and lighter head.....

EDIT: didn't remember thought he put proton meant RIPPER

proton?

the ripper isn't too bad...but anyone can play with any head. the pocket is the biggest thing. stick with it for a while.

I have used my ripper for quite a while now and i must say that i like it.
The shaft is the strongest 6000 alloy shaft out there.
I have previously owned a STX al6000 wich is now full of dings and dents and my brine 6000 only has a couple of paintscratches.
Another great thing is the standard powergrip-ish shape of the shaft.
The head you got is great too, it looks and behaves pretty much like a Cyber if you pinch it.
Keep hold of it, it's nice.
Trust me on this :thumbsup:

EDIT: I'll be reviewing this soon.
