edge x fingers

okay I searched and couldn't find anything but if you cna find something please point me i nthe right direction, thanks.

so anyway,
I was looking at the edge x and I was wondering if you can rip off the clear/blue fingers. If I do can it damage hte head at all?

It's been done, and doesn't really "damage" the head. I say "damage" because it's a pretty weak head to begin with, and taking these off doesn't really help. I know someone who had the idea that taking off the blue things would give you a cheap E3, but the head broke in the first game of indoor it faced. I can't really remember how to take them off, but I'll try to find out.

i would say yes and no. my friend used 1 as a beginner head, and i asked him if he wanted to rip them off. he said yes, but then i took a look and found that the holes for the sidewall depends on those fingers. beware, edge x's are flimy when its above 80 degrees.

good luck finding one. they are discontinued. if not, next best thing is e3

last thought, if it's the pinch you like, than the e3 is the way to go, it's incredibly durable, borderline tank.

i had one for a while last season and i took the plastic stuff off...didnt damage the head it didnt seem
although i did have to drill 2 new sidewall holes...

also note that i strongly reccomend you do not get one

go for the e3 or some non gimmick head
