alright so here's the deal. i just got a kpro pole and i need something that will make the weight even but will still be moderately strong for d. i was thinking razer, helix, etc. and then i took my finalizer off my shorty and put it on my pole. it is very light and has great control. but do you think that it would hold up through a competitive varsity season?

its how you feel about it. do you think its stiff enough for your style of play?

Yea, it really does depend on what you'd like. I have a friend who plays really good defense, but uses an Answer. He just likes it, and won't use anything else now. Whatever works for you.

MACDAD and Meade Lax are right, defense heads ae usually stiff strong and wide to hold up with checking and wideness for picking off passes, But in the end its prefernce I play pole and know a friend who uses a Truth for D, preference is a big thing here but a sterdy stiff head is prefered

That is an excellent combination. i used it for an entire summer before I needed Christmas money. The Finalizer is fine for D. Are there better heads, depends, but it will definately get the job done.

My pole has a proton power on it, and that is by no means a stiff head, and I manage to do just fine for myself..

So, its really more depending on your style. If the poke check is your only check, I wouldn't go for a Finalizer.
