Boil the throat so it can expand. Problem solved.

the questions been asked before, any head will fit on any shaft. Just use a little elbow grease.

Ive used so much elbow grease that ive started ripping up the inner plastic on the throat. and i wouldnt like to use boiling water. something safer. Would a hair dryer work?

Boiling water isn't dangerous unless you shove your own head into the pot.
But yeah, a hair dryer would work. I don't know if it would be as effective though.

Just use hot water from your sink...
My helix's all have tight throats as well, just run it under the hot water from your sink for a minute or two, and push.
Also. I only buy from Gait. I dont trust anyone else.
Helix's arent gait. :nono:
Just kidding.

i tried shoving my evo 2.0 onto a gait shaft, and i gave up when it started shaving off lots of plastic from the insides. it seems this year, the throats on warrior heads feel kind of flimsy (i can just squeeze it a little and it will start to come together). so i just boiled the throat a while.

put something slippery on the end of the shaft and push, if you can get it in a little then use a hairdryer on high heat for a couple minutes and push. it'll be fine.

What do you mean it won't come off. Just cut the knots and unstring it.

alright to get the head on the shaft you stick the head under warm water so it expands the throat, and you run the shaft under cool water to contract it
now if your having problems getting it off now put your foot on the scoop and pull the shaft upwards
or grip the head with your knees and get someone else to pull the shaft

Be creative, have a tug'o'war with your dog to get it off. Cmon we are human, we have poseable (sp?) thumbs, Im sure you can think of something.

hair dryers work, just takes a second. and you have to fanese (sp?) the head a little. try wiggling a bit, and stuff like that. and if you're ripping up the insides of the head than you're doing it right. no head was made PERFECT for every shaft, i have a flip grip magnum that my edge dosn't go on, and any of my warrior heads are a little odd getting on to my gait shafts... just patience, finese (got it right this time), and maybe a hair dryer

Just string it with the head still on the shaft...
