The Sci Ti is an all around better shaft than the Titan Classic. Atleast it is with the new Titan Classics, the old ones may compare, but with the new ones it is really no contest.

The Sci Ti may be a little more expensive, but it has a much longer warranty, and is a lot more durable. I have no idea how they compare weight wise, but I'm sure it isn't a big difference.

The Sci Ti, has emerged has one of the strongest shafts on the market, combining lightweight Ti and Strength of Scandium. It's STX's top of the line shaft, and are remarkable light, well being pretty dang strong.

the Ti classic, is the granddaddy of Titanium, it's warriors bread and butter. The TI classic has proved itself to be a premiere shaft in lacrosse, and well being light too [I consider all shafts remarkable light with exception of box shafts, which aren't heavy], as years continue warrior has been making their sidewalls a bit thinner, creating thim a bit weaker. Who knows how the 07 is going to be, but the 05/06 Ti classic proved itself to be mighty strong, and light.

If you want to jump into the new generation of lacrosse shafts, I'd suggest a sci ti or a dolomite, but the ti classic is not a bad shaft at all.
the sci ti is remarkable lighter, well remaining it's strength.

My personal thought would lean towards a sciti though.

the ti classic has a octangal/classic grip, and the sci ti has more of a rounder edges, that can be compared more to a kpro shaft.

I'm a fan of ti-classic short sticks. In a pole length though I would probbaly go with the STX premier, its deffinatly lighter and it could be a little stronger, who knows. More bang for yoru buck imo.
