Hey guys.. i'm just telling you ii'm switching from attack to goalie.... yorktown is a very competitive town and... well i'm going to be the only goalie in my grade level.. i just orered all my stuff today.. but i need it before camp comes around..

i ordered a goalmaster getting custom strung by lax.com..
warrior cu31 goalie length
brine spartan chest protector
and some throat gaurd.. i guess i have okay reflects and stuff and my brother said he would shoot on me everyday.. i'm just not sure i'll get my stuff before camps starts.... i ordered it today... july 3rd and i have camp on july 11... and it sayd 7-10 days to ship.. :( beleive them or not?

You probably wont get it, sorry man. Good to hear your becoming a goalie though! :agree Ummm...Pretty good choice of equipment I guess, since your just starting between the pipes. You definately wont get your stuff though, unless its a miracle. Sorry bro =/

dude- not to give you false hope or anything, but i think you've got a good chance at getting it, when i order reg stuff from them (not custom stringing etc.) it gets to me in 2 business days everytime, and i live in SEATTLE... so pray for a miracle, cause you got a shot at getting lucky

i'm not promising anything, heck, i don't work there, but don't give up hope.

also- dude you might wanna talk to other goalies and see if they have any old pads or back up sticks you could borrow just in case yours doesn't come. that way, at least you could get a some practice in even if it isn't with your own equip

ahhhh lax.com isnt open today so.. that sucks for me.. they wont start stringing till tommarow probably.. or i can cancel the custom stringing and just get factory mesh... what should i doooooo well my mom said if it doesnt come in time.. she'll bring up the goalie stuff to me at camp =) and i'll play attack for like a day

sorry to tell you, but lax.com is incredibly slow on their custom stringing. it took me three weeks to get it.

I would cancel and just get mesh, because custom stringing

for a goalie stick isnt that hard unless its like a mesh x or something, and you'll be able to string your own after a while

If you just call them up and ask them to get it out ASAP they'll usually work with you. especially since it's the off season. they're real nice there and real helpful, just call them up and tell them your situation and ask them if they could get it out to you in time. Or, have them ship out whatever is available and ready right now, that way come camp time, if your stick isn't ready, you've got your other stuff so you could probably borrow someone's stick

i got reg monster mesh... i'm going to ask if they could get it to me by saterday.. and if they say probably not i'm going to cancel my order and get it at my local lax shop.

i just canceled my order.. i just realized i didnt need a goalie sized shaft.. i can use 1 of my attack shafts.. and since i dont have to buy a new shaft i might step up to an eclipse and get it custom strung at sb.. it takes them like 2 days i'm goin there tommarow.. and hope they have the spartans there or i'm gonna have to get something else...

get a goalie length shaft. you really need to start with that. buy a cheap aluminum one, but by all means start with one

i started out with an attack shaft and then switched to a goalie shaft and my forms all messed up, im spending this summer getting my basics/footwork/stepping worked out. you should always try to start out with a goalie length then after a year or so cut it down
