is there any rule to when you can email a coach i see all these things bout phone calls and visits but nothing on emails thanks for your help

Phone calls and him contacting you depends on what Division. But you can Email a coach at any point...phone calls have to wait until deadlines. How old are you?

You can begin email coaches whenever you would like. Though, the most ideal time would be sophmore year before or after your lacrosse season. Many coaches say that they recieve emails from underclassman and while it doesn't hurt to email them their main focus is on recruiting their incoming class.
If you do email a coach before September 1st of your junior year you may recieve a short email back from them explaining that they appreciate your interest but cannot respond per NCAA rules.

im a sophomore right now and i just wanted to no cause i dont live in one of the hotbeds and wanted to get an early start
