they're basically the same. goalmaster is a little stiffer though, but it's also a little heavier.

goalmaster
Abyss, it is lighter and if you want to order it already strung up and do no work, you have both the options of soft mesh and hard mesh.. but you can also get it strung with warrior 12 diamond mesh if you want.. that's what I did :agree
I'm pleased with the abyss, very light

Its worh the extra money to go for n eclipse i started on a friends abyss then i used a brine extreme then i bought my eclipse. Eclipse is much much better. If you know how to string a goood pocket you should go for the brine zone or abyss. The brine Extreme is not very good.

abyss, but if u can get a good deal on an eclipse take it, its only like 20.00 more than an abyss

i think every goalie should play with an abyss or goalmaster before an eclipse. it kinda helps you ease into it, you learn fundamentals with a flat, heavy head, get decent, then move to a lighter more offset head and it makes it all the better.

definetly the goalmaster.it was my first stick now i have the nemisis and guardian but the goalmaster is a really great starter stick.
