Xtreet Lacrosse facility announcement

For those who have followed the threads on the two other forums, we are now making the official announcement: signed the final contract (signed my life and life savings away :bye:), Xtreet Sports, including Xtreet Lacrosse will begin operation tomorrow.

Xtreet Sports are five team sports played as indoor, small-floor, small-team games...baseball, basketball, inline hockey, indoor lacrosse, and indoor soccer.

We are located in El Paso, Texas, and hope to expand to other cities in the next few years...

Now I gotta work all weekend to finish the construction diagrams and plans to get the building permit Monday morning. Unless told to go jump in a lake, I will put weekly updates regarding this new version of the game, and the business, on this thread. Plan is to construct in January, preseason and registration in february, and first season starts in March.

We'll see how things go...

Ah, lads...you will be subjected to weekly pics as we progress. Probably beginning January 22/23 or so, I will post the design concept photo to start, which will give you a pretty good idea of what Main Xtreet will look like...

I really lucked into a lease option on the building. For the first ten months, I get to pay a somewhat reduced rate rent, so the business can get going...only problem is I had to pay five months up front, which really took a chunk of change...

The upshot is we will know within the first three months if this as a concept is going to be as hot as I think it is...I hope that this will turn out to be one of those things that people see and say, "Why didn't somebody come up with this before?"

Its close to indoor soccer or inline hockey facilities, but at the same time, totally different...as we get going you will see how...more this weekend as I get things set up...gotta go back to the drawing board (literally, gotta make the construction diagrams)...

Xtreet Floor arrived today...4800 square feet of Mateflex(tm) multi-sport flooring...now for a weekend of floor cleaning and installation...utilities, electrician work, then painting and construction for the next two weeks...away we go, pics to follow...
