In the last season I had 6 on 3 a couple of times, and one time we had 5 on 2 not exactly legal but the refs were awful. And the sad thing is on are 5 on 2 it was me and a short stick on defense no idea why but it was. We killed every huge man down like this and we were known as the best man down around.

The key to killing a man down like this is just forcing outside shots. Most teams don't have plays for a 6 on 3 offense so you just have to keep a strong, tight, 1-2 zone. The top player which is usually me can't allow any one to dodge from the top to the cage but should give him room to tempt hiim with a shot. It's all about fundamentals and luck on a 6 on 3 and what I love about it is if you stop it you look great and if you don't o well they had 3 more guys than you.

On that 5 on 2 though it was crazy I was the only long pole on the field. We ran a 0-2 zone and they made a soft pass thta I intercepted. I dodged for like a full minute and got it to just infront of the half line until one more guy came on and passed it to our attackman who killed the rest of the penalty. It was the definiton of a quality man down.

I was playing D when we had a 6 on 3 before. We just got into a triagle and kept it just a little tighter then normal. Then when the ball came in my zone I would try a quick poke check. Just watch it though cuz when its that unbalanced the ball can move around alot quicker

yea just keep the triangle and keep the shot far out as possible

theyll bring you in to a tight triangle if theyre good, but you have to keep the pressure and youre going to need to anticipate a wholes lots

A triangle...
It doesnt happen often...Most of the time a 6 on 3 turns into 6 on 4 quickly (because they more often than not will score)

yeh, like shtbrkd00 said, keep in a triangle and keep them from a easy shot close in

Not if the defense keeps them to outside shots and you have a good goale.
