If i want to string up my custom/traditional and use different colored crosslace, what is the best way to do it?

I dyed one of my heads blue and wanted the lace to match so i just threw it in the bucket of dye...it turned blue but not the dark shade i was aiming for even though i left it in there for a long time (it ended up turning light blue which looked cool anyways). but...

If i want to get the color im aiming for, it just a better idea to buy that color from jimalax or somethin?

anyone with help or ideas let me know. thanks.

if you have the money then you are better off buying from jima, your dyed crosslace will probably fade even more.

well the hotter the dye the deeper the color will be on your crosslace, but buying from jimalax is your best bet in my opinion

plus the color from your crosslace may bleed onto other things as well

"plus the color from your crosslace may bleed onto other things as well" ~ Makimaki13...

And that is never fun, I hated having random orange streaks on my white Nitrous.

that and your crosslace will be rock hard if you boil it. stringing crosslace that's like that is no fun at all, and is hard to adjust. just buy a spool of white and a spool of dark blue crosslace. if you don't have the money, always buy the darker shade of the color you want because if you end up not liking it, it doesn't stick out that much.
