OMG!!! i always get an itchy stringing finger and as of right now i wanna take my RP off my finalizer and restring it or take off the beautifully strung proton power hard mesh and dye it and tehn restring it
BUT i dont wanna mess up its beautiful ness... for both
ever get this ? I ALWAYS DO :jawdrop:

I know of a sewing finger, index finger, ring finger, pinky finger, middle finger, but there exists a stringing finger?
If you're stringing a good, tight pocket, then shouldn't it be a full hand excercise?

yes, very true. and if you're stringing a really good pocket that takes godly concentration, your neck will hurt, and your spine will be arched for the next three days.
its truly a full body workout.

This has actually happened to me. When I grab the string and wrap it around my hand it slips a bit and starts to rub the skin off my hand cause i pull so hard. Then after a while it becomes red and itchy. The itch does not go away either. It is always on the outside of my pinky and my index finger.

i know exactly what u mean. i judt did this to 2 of my sticks the other day. one was my answer that threw like anything i ever wnated. but i had an "itchy finger" and took it out just to string somthing.

yes i've had this many times, and i hate it.i have messed up my gamestick sooooooo badly just because i wanted to try something new with it, and i absolutly REFUSE to use either of my back-up heads, i guess its just a superstition so i always use the same one. then after i mess it up i spend forever stringing it until its satisfactory.

Well now that you cleared it up. Yes I have a very itchy finger but I fight it all the time. If it ain't broke don't fix it

It's happened to me both ways. Same thing Phish was talking about, and same thing you were talking about. Good thing I'm patient, because I love my pocket in my gamestick and I've been eyeing down my neon yellow 8d for some time now.

yea i know what you mean, when i first started stringing i wanted to string everything in sight. i've gotten a little better with it lately, havent messed with my gamestick in a month or so...

well i sort of have an itchy thumb in a way, i burned my thumb with melted sidewall string and it hurts so bad that it makes my finger itchy, and ya i also had what you were meaning, i just took out my first pita :bawling: (which was hard on me to take out) and then i dyed it and just re strung it today.

Mostly, I find that my pinkies are usually not used a ton in the process.
But...Back to the 'ol wanna take the RP out...I've had that...and I usually take it out, I could string like a beautiful RP that throws perfectly, and then pull it out in 3 days to put in some 7d.

i just restrung a proton and i love it but now i don't have anymore sticks to string so i might have to end up unstringiing it just so i can string it again

If it isn't broken, DON'T FIX IT!
This always happens to me, and 9 out of 10 times I end up regretting it if I choose to redo it. I would stick with it unless you are having serious problems with the pockets.

i get it. i can restring my stick up to 4 times a day if im a) bored or b) feel my stick isnt throwing right,

i enjoy restringing with new mesh or colors or for a new head, but i dont restring several times a day like some other guys. i just tweak the bottom sting and shooters, and restring if i really have to. i mean, you can only string 10d mesh so many times before you get bored of it..

amen to that. doing that is a stupid thing especially when you have ABSOLUTLEY not time to do it with the extra hours of practice, homework, and YOUR LIFE!
i only restring over and over on offseason to find my liking of stringing.

ME TOO! I wanna restring my baby, but it has a perfect pocket, WITH a channel! I've never even made a channell on an attack head, and I don't want to take it out.
As for the hard mesh just use the same mesh, and remember how u did it, it shouldnt chaneg too much. As for the RP theres no better option than to cut it out, but next time string the pocket to a topstring like u would in mesh, so u can cut out the sidewalls and the topstring and transplant the pocket. Only like 1 other person actually answered u.
