it all depends on what you like to do in a game situaton, high pockets are usually for shooters and people that like to fake, low pockets are usually feeders , middle pockets are a lil of both

yes it is all preference. as said high pockets are for people who shoot alot and or like to fake a lot. a high pocket gives you a quick release and good hold for fakes. a low pocket as said is good for feeders. you can one hand cradle, protect the ball well and have an easier time passing. and a mid pocket is a combination of both a high a low pocket. i personally like a low/mid pocket, that what i can feed well, have a decent quick shot, one hand craddly throw ok fakes, and have confidense while craddling.
