should i get them now? is it needed? cuz the season doesn't start..untill some time later but....



if i get to play jv i kno im gonna need elbow pads so im asking now..

im new, and this is my first year.. which pair of elbow pads do you recomend?

my school provides helmet and shoulders btw.

just to let you know, elbow pads refer to pads that cover exclusively the elbows, meant for defensemen.

i have a pair of chopper arm guards though, and i like them alot. they are also cheap at, say, a store like play it again sports

also, dont get pads that are one solid piece. youll get rashes on the inside of your elbow. get "hinged" ones. look at a picture the choppers i mentioned, and youll see what i mean

next time you have to post twice, just click the edit button on your first post and you can edit it and add in whatever you still want to say in the second post.

and whether you play JV, Varsity, or anything else, you are going to want arm pads. if its your first year, it shouldnt really matter what kind you have, but yeah i agree dont get single pieced ones, cause they are very uncomfortable and limit mobility.

Since you're beginning, i'd suggest you buy something cheaper.
You can always upgrade when you need better and sell them to a new guy.
