I get invited to all the parties... Both cool and uncool... and I try to keep a balance of which ones I go to.
The "Cool" parties often have cops coming to them, so I tend to say "I cant, I have Lacrosse the next day..."

Well I have this friend named billy and a friend named James but they scatter when the bullies come. I get shoved into lockers and ussually get my PB and J taken away. I love it at lunch though, sometimes the girls ask me to throw away their trash and sometimes my hand even touches theirs as they hand me the tray. So yeah I think Im pretty popular.

P.S when mom sends me the red gummy bears for some reason I get so many more friends.

Well, I just do what ever, as far as hanging out, hang with some kids that aren't that popular, but then some that I guess would be considered "popular", I just have friends, don't really care how popular I am or the kids I hang out with are, as long as they aren't total losers, and they are fun to hang out with, like I know a few kids who are cool they are just.....they just aren't that good at making friends, so I'll hang out with them some times. But I don't know what popular would be defined as, knowing alot of people.. alot of people knowing you? Alot of people likeing you?

i have friends in just about every clique you can think of. so i would say friends with everyone, which kinda means popular...right? i only have one enemy, not including his friends who he has turned against me. i dont think they count though. but yeah just one guy who i cant have a friendly relationship with. yesterday he jumped me in the locker room, and lets just say it was a very unfair fight, considering he is 50 pounds heavier than i am and the captain of the wrestling team.

Me my friends and our ladies have been called "the table" (our lunchtable if you didn't get that) and "the group" at my school we have two tiers of popularity. The cheerleader/football jock group, then we have my popular, the laxer/ soccer group, which take AP's and sort of exist among ourself.

i think it's all perspective. if you have a bunch of friends and you kick it all the time, then you're popular enough for yourself. the cool kids think they're the cool kids and that's why the whole "quantitative" friend system doesn't work. i'd rather have a few cool dudes to hang with than a bunch of people that are insincere and generally fake, not to mention closed minded, which happens to be my pet peeve... just cuz a certain crowd of people isn't in with you doesn't mean either one of you are better

I'm friends with really popular people, really not popular people, the nerds, the debaters, the chess club, robotics club, art students, hippies, preps, jocks. And in that same sense I have people who hate me from each of those groups as well, I'm more of a love or hate type guy, you're either going to be a good friend with me or dislike me a lot.

At school I have my own little chill croud of friends that I hang out with but I wouldn't really consider myself popular. I just have a solid core of great people that I surround myself with, and a wonderful girlfriend.
So if I were to vote, I would probably go towards unpopular because I know I don't have an overwhelming amount of friends, and I like that, because I don't want to try and be friends with a bunch of insecure people that I don't even like anyways.
I do have a lot of school type friends though, but I never see them outside of school, and I have a lot of them... but still, I choose my friends wisely..

In fact, my reputation on that kind of precedes me. I have genuine friends in all types of groups. My school is kind of cool (and unique?) in the fact that there's really not any set "popular" group, everybody is pretty much friends with eachother, or they at least get along and are chill with eachother. This isn't a small private school, there's about 2,500 kids, and it's divided pretty evenly between whites, hispanics, and blacks, with a little chunk of eastern europeans in there too. It's pretty legit.

My high school wasn't too cliquey. However you spell cliquey. Now I'm in school, and I miss the part of high school where I knew everybody, but at least in college you know who your friends are and they'll stick with you, whereas in high school there's the random turd that'll act a certain way to fit in with whoever, and by the time you graduate you'd like to punch them in the mouth. So yeah, high school had that immaturity where kids are trying to get popular and end up sucking, and I don't miss that. I was a nice kid. A lot of people knew my name. I did some crazy stuff every now and then. What's that mean? Who knows. I just enjoyed high school and knew plenty of people. So, I guess that makes it a success. I mean, I'd go back and redo it again differently, just because you realize that some things you cared so much about then don't matter.

I guess I was popular. I dunno, I don't really care. I'd recommend just ignoring all that high school jazz popularity stuff and just be nice to people. Or a sarcastic funny kid. Everbody likes the sarcastic funny kid.

It's just a bunch of groups, where people hang around with other ppl like them selves. there are always the kinda kids that are loners.
