I've only strung one goalie stick, but I'd say that looks pretty good. It looks like it might lack some hold because you strung it with open sidewalls, though. And it looks like the ball could come out through the hole where the bottom string is.

you skipped a few too many diamonds where the sidewalls cross on the head (the X) which makes it look a little weird. Also the bottom is a little too loose

mesh looks bunched up on the runners but all in all its good for a first

EDIT: I didn't see the runners... just pull them as tight as you can.

i actually string goalie sticks or a store where i live and i think for your first sick its great but what people are saying about the hole in the bottom i agre with. theres a simpole diamond pattern you can do with the eclipse so just mess around with it and try to find something that is not as loose or that big of a gap

it could definitely use some work. if you're going to bother with having nylons running down the sides of the mesh, pull them uber-tight to create a channel. from what I can see the channel is almost non-existant and I'm gonna guess there's a good deal of ball rattle. I made a tutorial on open sidewall 14d goalie mesh... here: http://www.laxstore.com/stringing-details.asp?id=37

check that out. you'll see what I mean if you just check the pictures.

thanks guys, being new to the whole goalie head thing, i wasn't sure if the runners should be tight or loose or what, i noticed the bottom string, and have since fixed that since taking the pictures, thanks for the comments and criticism i never claim to be a goalie stringer, but i do what i can...

ok i like it, it is way better than my first attempt. I think you should go close side walls. the pocket won`t be as deep but i will have a better channel and also will throw aton smoother. and if you don`t want to do that tighten every except the top string. for a tighter channel you might want to tighten the sidewalls. But the bottom string looks big enought that the ball could go though. I hope i helped a little. Just remember keep trying and you get it perfecct.
