i saw the post about the guy who has back pains when he runs.

this is different.

last year when i started lifting, i started expeiencing lower back pain.
it would happen like when i bend over to pick something up, and once i get back up straight, it hurts for a little.

but lately, when i started lifting again, i think i did something to it, becuase the pain is a little worse, and it happens when i lay down on my stomach, and sit up again, and when i bend over. thats about it though.

any ideas as to what this could be?

by the way, im a soph (15) if that matters

Generally speaking, with the exception of a true injury, most back pain is due to a lack of "core strength" and "flexibility". Posture when sitting or standing will also play a role in it. Try looking at ways to improve all three and I bet your back pain goes away. Try something like Pilates exercises.

as for excercizes...im thinking that it was either dead lift or clean that started it. and it got a little better and dulled to a nuisance every once in a while. and over the weekend, i was laying on a recliner all weird and felt some nice pain. lol. but since then its been great.

If you f up a deadlift or powerclean, you'll definately feel it in your back for a couple days, that's probably the problem. As for the remedy, next time it happens, just stay away from lifting for the next couple days, as almost all lifts incorporate your back in some way.
