This was my bro's first attempt on a traditional pocket. It's done on a Mohawk Thunder head that he picked up in 6-nations a little while ago. Any comments or criticims would be great. thanks.

that actually looks great for a first timer, but im no expert on leather. maybe finish off the nylon more towards the bottom of the head.

looks nice, diamonds are a little uneven, though, like they are all different sizes

that's a really good start. acutally very good. I'm gonna agree with laxman 9990 and say that you should have probably finished the crosslace farther down the leathers, but still, that's a rediculously nice pocket for a first try. how did you string that? (ball/knife, tape leathers to shaft, et cetera?)

looks alright you need to extend the diamonds lower like everyone else has said and also keep the diamonds the same size and tighten up those sidewalls

first time i think ive ever seen a mohawk head on here

Wait until you get poke checked in the stomach with one of those things. Then you can talk about being nauseas :nahya: . The head is a rock.

thats the answer you'll get from most people in the US who've never used a mohawk head but definitely great if there were box leagues down here

That looks pretty good. I would besides finishing further down, you may want to tighten up the sidewalls
