it wont let me zoom the pics, but from what i can tell you should tighten the sidewalls. also, if you want a deeper pocket, let the bottom string out a little

shooting strings? all i see is one nylon

not bad at all for a first timer. jut tighten up the sidewalls and pound it to death.
then also you should add more shooters and adjust them.

wheres the mesh from?? your pocket looks like its started to form a little weird and i cant zoom in so i cant really tell if your topstring is done wrong or not but it looks alright for a first try

you might do a little tweaking with oranges Giant mesh tutorial on here

Sidewalls and topstring look loose, try this http://www.lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=22944 , or try interlocking for a low pocket similair to that.

If I were you I'd redo the sidewalls and interlock them but otherwise it looks good but strech the mesh a little more

if you think it throws well than put in some normal shooters and it will throw amazing...and also the channel looks lumpy fix it...but good

yes, that pocket looks like its forming a little funny.nice first pocket.i would try to get some shooters in there..but if it throws good, heck, leave it be.
