How to measure a head?

Hey I was wondering. When you measure the top of a head(which has to be 6.5 inches at least) Do you measure the front or back of the head? or does it matter?

i always thought it was the front of the head and at the widest part.

According to the rules, front and back.

In practice, if we did that, about 5 times as many sticks would be illegal. I'm eager to see what they tell us to do at the convention this weekend.

so if the back is about 6 and a quarter and the front is 6 and a half I'm ok?
