i have had my tourque for a while and over time it has gotten a ton of those dirt marks on it. i think it just makes the head look tacky, so i was wondering if there is any way i can get my head whiter

lol tacky? It makes it look like you play lacrosse. get out the soap and water, and start scrubbing. It's the easiest way. Actually, try putting it into the dishwasher. I want to see if it will work.

soap/water and a toothbrush. It works miracles. But it takes some time on head with all the little grooves and such.

yes, soap and water is the best, i mean you could use some chemicals but its too big a deal, just use soap and water.

No, Brillo pads are the best. They work great.

if you use brillo pads, make sure they arent the ones that have the dis cleaner in them already, otherwisse you might end up with a weird color. Ive heard of heads turning a real light shade of blue when they used dish soap.
I think mainlax has got the best idea.

hot water and a little soap, no detergents or anything like bleach they'll turn your head yellow and make it super flexy

BLEACH hahah or you could just boil some water and put the head in there and the hotness of the water should take off the dirty and more

Yup. Thats what I do before I dye a head. I rub the toothbrush on a bar of soap to get it all soapy, and I rub the soap bar moderately forcefully all over the head to get it soapy as well, and scrub the dirty parts pretty hard to get off the dirt and whatnot.

i heard toothpaste works too. toothpaste's job is to act as sandpaper against your teeth so i understand how it would work.

I use toothpaste to clean my heads for two reasons, it makes the head look brand spankin new and leaves your head smelling minty fresh

use a S.O.S pad to get off the ebrasions and any sticking up plastic. If you use the kind with oxyclean in em I just use a bit of sandpaper to get off the ever so slight tint of blue it leaves on. Also the S.O.S pads work good for taking off those poop coloured ball marks

Would a steel wool brush work?
SilverZeppelin
01-11-2007, 07:53 PM
steel wool would just mess up the head..you use steel wool for polishing metal
Sethlax17

a steel brush might scratch the head.. I like to use an old toothbrush and toothpaste.. works pretty good
