Well, it has grown from 8 teams ten years ago to at least 32 now, so it seems to be growing pretty well.

The first Club (Berlin) was founded 1993, and is growing very fast. Frankfurt (M) was second last year in the German Championship.

Yeah, Aachen won in overtime. Good game by both teams! And Frankfurt won in 2005 and 2002.

Contact the management for whichever team you are interested in (Herren if you're talking about the 2008 European Championships or U-19 if your talking about the U-19 World Championships).

We have 1 or 2 Germans play for us at Adelaide University (Australia) each year. In 2006 I went to visit Christian Theiss in Marburg and Kristian Kanopka in Hamburg. I had a run with the Marburg Saints. It was great fun playing in Germany and we got to beat Düsseldorf at their ground!!

I've known Christian Theiss for a long time...also Wolf Greb in Marburg.

Hi, I'm moving to Germany from Vancouver in the near future, and I'm looking to find a club to play for. I'll be living in Konstanz (in Baden-Württemberg). I think the nearest team to me is in Stuttgart, but I'm not sure. I will probably be moving there in late summer/early autumn. If anyone can help me find a team, or give me some contacts of teams, that would be great. You can either reply here or email me at timwhitehead@yahoo.com .

Thanks a lot.

Well the nearest team from Konstanz would be Sankt Gallen (Swizerland) or the not realy* existing Team of Konstanz, so the next real Team is Stuttgart :).

If you are in germany feel free to join us.

last year the Bundesliga sued was the smalest leauge in germany, this year it is the bigest :) (eaven with loosing passau, one of the best teamsthat splitted to Munich and and Stuttgart) and it is growing fast. When will Basel join us (it is not as far as the other teams from us so I would like them to have with us.)

@ CHLaxMaster
Is basel joining the swisslax team this year and will you play?

hmm when they stay with the philosophy to invide the final 4 from germanys last year championchips, we should be there. ( If not, team Bayern will be there and team Bundeswehr so hopefully I will be there.

Not sure when Basel will join BLS... we were only looking for players and a field n equipment so far. hopefully we will join like '09-early '10 or something because it doesn't really make sense to join earlier (lack of practice n stuff like that).

i hope so! haha but i don't think so... if we join it mostlikely will be me and a friend joining because as far as i know we're the only ones that allready play lax.

I'll play '08 somewhere in san diego i guess since i'm going there for an exchange year!

I was born in Weiden, and someday I want to start a lacrosse camp to help it grow there. When i'm older though (only 16). I love europe, and especially deutschland.

I hab the same thought. Austria is also growing pretty fast! We have teams in vienna, graz, villach and wels (between passau and linz). with a few more currently being founded.

Well it depends weather you have a german pasport or not. The DlaxV has some slots for non resident pasport holders in every national team and some slots for residential non pasport holders as far as i know.
