[TechHelp] No sound?

Yo, I have a problem with my computer. Everytime I try to use iTunes and error message pops up: "iTunes has detected a problem with your audio configuration..."

Also, when I try to play my computer game this error pops up, "DirectSound init Failed". Even when I go onto youtube my sound does't work, it's really starting to piss me off.

Please can anyone help?

Eh...speakers connected? Are they on? Try double clicking the little speaker icon near the time on the bottom, and make sure everything is up, and not at the bottom.

My speakers are connected, the little speaker thing wont even pop up. A computer without sound is pretty annoying.
