I WON A PS3! does anyone else have one?

i won a ps3 at my schools raffle, after spending 22 dollars on tickets. I finally got it, and i was originally going to sell it on ebay, but now im thinking of keeping it.

Anyone else have one? post what games you have.

Anyone think i should keep it?

Cool. I wouldn't keep it. You could get TONS of money off of ebay and just buy lacrosse stuff. Or a 360. That's what I would do.

Its not the best next gen, i have the Wii and the 360 and i think both of them are better than the ps3. I'd sell it back to a gamestop or something cause the ps3 market on ebay is not doin too well.

Sell it on eBay. They're going for well over a grand. I'm not sure how old you are, but save up for a car or throw a ballin party.

I'd sell it over keeping it, because you can get so much more for it. It's really just a glorified Blu-Ray player, so if you're still using DVDs, sell it, buy a 360 or a Wii, and use the rest of the money for lacrosse stuff.

id sell it on ebay because youre probably going to get more money there than at gamestop or a place like that. but you should call your local store and ask how much they will give you before you sell it on ebay just to make sure.

Agreed. They are VERY readily available. I was at Fry's (Like a huge Best Buy-like place) and they probably had a hundred. I want to say they were only around 500 bucks. Asking 1000 for one now will get you nothing at all.

well i have an xbox 360, so i was gonna buy a new acoustic guitar, brine answer and db803, or a laptop

but today is the first day when i had thoughts about keeping it

i already put it on ebay, and its ending in like 4 days so i gotta make a decision quick. i can always take it off ebay and then sell it if i dont like it.

ok keep it the demand for the ps3 isn`t high. you will end up losing money on this deal. The ps33 has the best graphics out of every station out there. And the blue ray dvd is very cool. one thing is do you have a 1080p tv? if you do keep it because the ps3 is very cool. i got one at target about 2 weeks ago and they had 10 in stock at 8 o`clock pm. So keep it.

keep it...i got a ps3 and the wii for christmas and im sick of hte wii already. get resistance..nhl 2k7 and blazing angels. the whole six axis remote is sick. your better off keeping it

He wouldn't lose money, he won it in a raffle, so unless he sells it for under $20 then he's not losing anything. But I would keep it, I said early to sell it, but since the demand is already down I'd just keep it.

atually of its brand new you can probly take it to best buy and get store credit there.they have some stupid employees.i bought a ipod speaker and returned it over 1 year later and they gave me store credit.

Yeah now that the holidays are over stores are beginning to have them in stock. Your best bet is just going to a retailer and saying you got it as a gift or lost the receipt or something and getting a store credit.

i dont know aobut ps3s going for over a grand right now...i see about 600 average
id keep it. sure its not strong right now, but no stunning titles have been released for it. plus you haev all you need right there. like i have a 360, adn eventually i am going to haev to get the HD drive so i can play different disks for movies and better games. and i am going to need the wireless adapter for my internet to use xbox live. right there thats 400 for the xbox. 200 for the HD drive and 100 for the wireless thingy. but with a ps3 its all included for 100 less that all that for an xbox. i mean dont get me wrong, i love my 360 and id rather have it than a ps3, but if i got one for 22 buck, id keep it. in the coming months some awesome titles are going to be released for it and it will be fine.

edit, i just read and you said you had a 360....well than mabye i would sell it haha. if you already have a 360 then i dont think you need two nexgen consoles. there wotn be very many titles that are exclusive to the ps3, but there are alot of good ones coming out for the 360. so yeah id sell it on ebay. and about what you wanted to get, i hope you haev other money to put towards a laptop, cause a 600 laptop is a pos and not worth getting

actually its kinda my brothers 360 and it just broke and stopped working and hes like 9 days over the 1 year warranty hahahaha...

so i think im gonna keep it. its like a stereo system, dvd player, computer, and a game system combined into one machine that i got for 22 bucks lol

There is no profit available on ebay anymore. After paypal, ebay and all that trouble your profit will be $50 at the most, it's not worth it. But since you won it that is $600 in your pocket. No good games right now.

and now that the 360 has both metal gear and assains creed its not really a contest
