First of all, what is Comet McNaught (http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=&q=comet+mcnaught&btnG=Search+News)?

Comet McNaught is now the brightest comet in 40 years. (http://www.space.com/spacewatch/070114_comet_mcnaught.html) I tried to see it at sunset last week, but I didn't have a clear view of the western horizon. Now it seems that attempting to view it at sunset may not be necessary, as Comet McNaught is Now a Daytime Comet (http://www.yubanet.com/artman/publish/article_49299.shtml).

This I've got to see. Residents of the southern hemisphere, be patient. Your turn is coming.

Pictures, how to see it, etc. (http://www.spaceweather.com/)

I got pictures of it on my phone. My science teacher gave me the heads up to be looking about 4:45 Thursday, and there it was, flying to the south/southwest of Northern Idaho. Not going to lie, it was amazing. Longest tail i have ever seen on any asteroid, and it was actually very bright. I was impressed, definitely good to see.

"Longest tail i have ever seen...." [on a comet, of course].

Did you see that one that was around about five or six years ago? It's the one that the cult out west decided to visit. I've got to look up the name. Searching for "comet nikes suicide" ... OK, Hale-Bopp. That was easily visible, for several weeks too.

Heaven's Gate cult (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heaven's_Gate_(cult))

"I dont know when/where to look."

Comets are bright when they're near the sun, so look near the sun. Last week, you wanted to look to the west just after sunset. Next week, you'll want to look east just before sunrise. As bright as it is said to be, you should be able to see it during daylight hours. You'll have to stand in the shadow of a building to block the sun.

Edited: wow, Hale-Bopp (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comet_Hale-Bopp) came by ten years ago. It seems as if it was just a few years back.

Hey, I was just browsing the forums and saw that you have the Brushie snowboard with the trout. It was my first board and I would love to buy it. If you need cash, and want to come off it, let me know. THanks,
Jeremy

I have a Brushie, but not with a trout. The top sheet of mine has the rainbow stripes, and the base is blue with the airbrushed graffiti. It is circa 1993. I actually have two of them. One of them has never been used.

Here are pictures of a board just like mine (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/burton-snowboard-jeff-brushie_W0QQitemZ200056462973QQihZ010QQcategoryZ90 885QQcmdZViewItem) that had been for sale at eBay.co.uk back in December; the title is "burton snowboard jeff brushie."
