Is this a good pocket? Monster Mesh

This is my bro's stick. He's 12, I recently helped him string it up with monster mesh, at first he liked it, but now he complains the pocket is too small. I keep on insisting it is fine as I play with it a lot and it catches, throws, and fakes very well. I love it, he hates it, what do you think?

i think its big enought but for some reson it just dont look right? mabey its becuse im just used to a higher pocket

yea its nice. mayb a little bit deeper but its a good job.

if u could make it a little deeper it would be a great pocket but it doesnt look that small

make it maybe a little deaper(losen side walls a little maybe and te throught strings and break in a little more and as the mesh gets deaper from playing tighten them

If he uses it as D-stick, he'll probly never get it checked. BigDman, lol, I did loosen the sidewalls but then he didn't like how it threw (it threw perfectly well!!!) so I was obliged to tighten them.

do what im doing, take a shower with it, condition it and while its still wet stick the ball and knife in there

Done the bal and knife thing like 5 times lol, I dont want the mesh to be soft though

GCHSLax04 its just a lacrosse head its not your gf haha, conditioning it, showering with it, theres more to life than lacrosse.....jk just the way you typed that response it sounds funny. dont worry i do the same thing. btw anybody know how i could put the vertical channels in a hard mesh head to create a better pocket and shoot faster adn straighter, i havent ever really strung a head before but i want to try and im gonna try it on either a profile or a finalizer.

I think it looks like the first shooter is pretty tight, if you loosen that one and adjust the other ones to fit that... it will be able to fake, shoot and catch a lot better. It looks like the top half (after the shooters start) is like a tennis raquet.

I think it's perfect the way it is, I knew it was good but my brother doesnt believe me, thats why I posted this thread. But lax n brew, I think that if I loosen the first shooter, it hits the top, that why I keep it tight.

Nah the V has too be tight or else the ball doesn't have enough whip.

the pocket is too shallow..make it a bit deeper...you could also loosen the v and tighten the top shooter some more....should have the same amount of whip

The top shooters already like a metal wire, yet it will throw too high if i loosen the V

make the pocket higher, and it will seem like a bigger pocket. Low pockets always seem small.
