shortly before the game only lots of water mixed with some apple juice or just eat an apple with lots of water (but the water has to be silent! means NON SPARKLING):D

haha, Alex Smith eats a huge serving of Chicken Parmesean at a little place in town before every game.

but I like to have a sandwich and water, i know some guys that down energy drinks but dont do that its no good by any means. For football we'd always have a big barbecue dinner prepared for us but that was not always the best idea.

I would say not to eat an apple, cause they dont digest very fast...but bananas are great. I usually eat a pb&j sandwich and water

A: drink lots of water the day before no amteer what like 1 1/2 quarts an hour
B: Morning game, if i have more than two hours some mac and cheese, 4 quarts water, if not peanut butter crackers
C: Afternoon, mac cheese in morning **** load of water.
D: Night Peanut butter sandwiches 2 or three for lunch, than mac and cheese

Im not obcessed with mac and cheese, it have good amouts of everything in it, especially complex carbs. peanut butter gives protein. alson NO GREASY FOOD

I prefer a juicy steak, killed the night before, with a side of mac and cheese, some mash potatoes, and some bacon, also killed the night before. For the drinks, I try to stay light, so I go with 2-3 beers along with a Big o'l slice of Homeade Chocolate Cake.

But seriously, a pb and j with a banana and a glass o milk, then lots o agua from thta point till the game

I usually have a pretty average lunch the day of the game, staying away from sodas, heavy sauces (ranch, thousand island). i just try and fill up. then right when i get home from school i down a bagel with cream cheese. drinking water the entire day. and when i get home from the game....holay cow, i eat and eat and eat. im talking about milkshakes, pizza, whatever i can hunt down in my backyard.

Normal meal the day before.
A large bowl of cereal in the morning (sugared, so that you get the long release energy for the game and the short release for the pre game chuck around)
An energy bar just before the game (i make them)

And i drink huge amounts of water all the time anyway, water rules.

i usually eat throughout the day if it is a weekday game, just like granola bars every period, stopping at 8th period. i have a huge water bottle with me all day also, during my lunch i will go home and fill it up with gatorade, and drink gatorade until the game, then water throughout the game
