Everyone here always says the key to being a good defender is footwork and body positioning although they never really explain it...what exactly do u mean by footwork/body positioning? I get that u stay low/on your toes and between the man and the goal, but i heard someone say yesterday that one thing was that if u are right handed and ever going to step towards your attack do so with your left foot...i know nothing about this sort of stuff so can u please enlighten me?

Make sure that yiu are always moving and never flat footed. keep your shoulders square to the target at all times.
