I know someone posted it already but this website:

shows harrow coming out with new palmless gloves... will these be legal to play with? if not, why would they make $125 palmless gloves directed at high school players (seems like an expensive glove to use "for fun")

Personal Equipment
SECTION 22. ...The cutting or altering of gloves and shoulder pads
is prohibited.

yeah it says nothing about you must have palms only they must look like you did when you bought them.

but who knows if the rules commitee will call them legal

It really doesn't matter what's in the rules right now. The NCAA/NFHS/whoever has the final say in deciding whether the gloves are legal or not.

I guess so. Harrow needs to do some serious thinking before they come out with their next product. Eventually interest will dwindle on their only popular product, the I-Beam, and then where will Harrow be?

If the camp counselor was a college player, they get their equipment for free usually. So they are free to mess with their stuff.

They might look like Harrow's other lacrosse gloves that you can see on the link on their site that says "Gloves" in the lax section. My local lax store has a pair of the old ones, and they look alright, but they said that they sucked.
