Try a EuroLax Longsword2. Perhaps it's no that often in Australia, but in Europe many people play it. I tried it and all I can say it's light, very durable (i've never seen anyones break or bend) and cheap! :laugh :laugh :clap

Have a look at www.prolaxshop.com (http://www.prolaxshop.com), you get more information about it there.

Or look at !www.laxshopper.com (http://www.laxshopper.com) , how other people think of it

if your goin for brine, i'd suggest an f55, they are pretty sweet, very light, although... i question their durability.

I got a C405 from STX, but not a pole. I'm going to buy one soon though, because I have to play defence sometimes because where not enough defenders right now. Normally I'm attack.
But I'd go for a longsword. I played some games with one from a friend of mine and it has worked fantastic. And got a hell of a beating, I can tell ya!!!:agree :agree

supersonic72, EuroLax is kind of a new company right, do you know how it started and if they plan on making more products.

EuroLax was started by three or four real good Lacrosse Players I think from Aachen in Germany and Maastricht in the Netherlands. So they are real Lax fanatics and know about the game. I've seen some of them play, and they know what they are talking about.
I talked to "CEO", or how you want to call it, at the women's Lax European Champs in Goettingen some weeks ago, he's a real nice guy, Lax-Player like you and me!

I copied the following from their Webpage
www.euro-lax.com (http://www.euro-lax.com)

The idea to start a company that makes Lacrosse equipment for the european market was born at Berlin Open 2001 while walking over the field. It was then that we, 4 players from Maastricht and Aachen, decided to make our plans reality. The idea was to make our own Lacrosse equipment which was suposed to be cheaper and better than current products on the market to become more independent from US companies. Doing this we hoped to strengthen the European Lacrosse scene. Since then we started a company. And a lot of effort has been put into creating the Lacrosse item that needs to be replaced constantly - the shaft. Our long term aim is to produce all pieces of equipment that are needed during a game of Lacrosse.
We develop our equipment to be functional and safe during the game. Functional in the way that we want to deliver equipment that enhances the quality of the individual players skills.
Safe in the way that all our equipment will be tested by the german TUV. By meeting the TUV requirements we enable european clubs to insure their players which is not possible today.

Being lacrosse players ourselves we are always interested in your opinion about the way we run Euro-Lax. Let us know what you like and what you would like to be changed and we will see what we can do for you.

I've had a non-powergrip f-15 for just over a year now and I couldn't be happier with it.

I hate powergrip!
So do I! I like to throw bare-handed a lot and a powergrip really hurts my hands. Also I've never had any trouble holding on to my stick in games without the grip.

Powergrip may just be the worst lacrosse invention ever... I agree with you all totally. I like classic grip, even the flipgrip and that gait triax grip feel wierd to me.

i agree too. I wonder if those guys were designing sticks and thought it would be a great idea to invent a stick that hurts players hands
